Consultant Request for Information Form
Tipping Point Community Overview
Tipping Point finds, funds, and strengthens the most promising poverty-fighting solutions so one day everyone in the Bay Area can prosper.
Partner + Strengthen: Provide Tailored Resources Beyond the Dollar
A key strategy for Tipping Point is to help organizations increase impact by providing support, from strategy planning to supporting our grantees' leaders and everything in between. We partner with grantees in a multitude of customized ways, providing support where and when it's needed so they can best serve low-income residents on a path to prosperity.
Tipping Point's Capacity Building Consultants
Tipping Point has worked with a range of consultants and experts to support our grantees in strengthening their impact. We are releasing this RFI to expand our roster of consultants. Our goal is to source and engage a broad group of mission-aligned consultants to join efforts. This vetted group of consultants will be solicited to provide their services to your grantees.
We are looking for consultants who are experts in the following areas:
Program Design and Delivery
(e.g., theory of change/logic model development, program development, curriculum development, program evaluation, etc.)
Performance Management
(e.g., building a data driven culture, data system optimization/management, etc.)
Talent
(e.g., executive coaching, executive search, talent strategy, interim staffing, succession planning, etc.)
Financial Management and Sustainability
(e.g., fundraising/development strategy, campaign planning, upgrading finance infrastructure, etc.)
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
( DEI strategy/training, strengthen use of data to reduce inequities in outcomes etc.)
Operations/Infrastructure
(e.g., technology/IT, compensation design, strategic communications, etc.)

Mental Health & Wellness

Consultant Selection and Engagement Process
The Tipping Point team will review RFI submissions on a rolling basis for individual and organizational fit. Potential consulting partners will receive an email to let them know we have received their information
Once a project has been identified that matches a consultant's expertise, we will set-up a 30-minute interview with Tipping Point staff. If the consultant is moved on to the next phase, we will ask for 1-2 client references and work samples. Successful consultants will be added to the consultant database.
If a consultant is currently working with Tipping Point, they will not be required to go through the interview process and will be included in our updated consultant database once their form is submitted.
